Fiona Knight

Fiona Knight is a Principal at ghSMART. She serves high-performing organizations on their most critical leadership challenges by helping boards, executives and investors to identify best-in-class talent, accelerate leadership performance and prepare for the future. She has deep expertise in the areas of CEO succession planning, C-suite executive assessment and development, senior team effectiveness and individual leader coaching.

Prior to joining ghSMART, Fiona was an Executive Director at global search firm Russell Reynolds Associates, where she led the development of the firm’s contemporary approach to CEO assessment and specialized in complex CEO succession projects for FTSE and Fortune companies and equivalent organizations. Before this, she worked both in-house with a leading global talent solutions firm and as a trusted external advisor, primarily serving high-profile government organizations and creating robust leadership interventions fit for the complex strategic challenges they faced.

Fiona holds an MSc in organizational psychology from Birkbeck College, University of London. She is a Principal Practitioner of the Association for Business Psychology, an experienced psychometric practitioner accredited by the British Psychological Society and an advanced practitioner of the Hogan psychometrics suite. She also holds a BA in English literature from the University of Warwick and an MA in Shakespeare from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She is based in London and loves spending time with family and friends, frequent visits to the theatre and long walks culminating in country pubs.
