Kim Johnston has a diverse work experience in human resources leadership roles. Kim started their career at West Corporation, where they served as a Divisional Human Resources Leader from 2000 to 2007. Afterwards, they joined Starbucks Coffee Company, holding positions such as Senior Director of Human Resources and HR Business Partner from 2007 to 2016. Kim then transitioned to CAVA as the SVP of People + Culture from 2016 to 2019. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at Main Event Entertainment as the Chief Human Resources Officer. Currently, they are serving as the SVP and Chief People Officer at Get Go Cafe + Market, a position they have held since February 2021.
Kim Johnston holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Lubbock Christian University. In addition, they have obtained certifications as a Professional Certified Coach from the International Coaching Federation and as a Senior Professional of Human Resources from SHRM.
