Ian Rintoul, MBA

Ian Rintoul, MBA, has a diverse background in software development and management. Ian is currently the Director of Software at Giatec | Smart Construction Solutions, a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Engineering at RenoRun from December 2021 to March 2023.

Ian has also held several roles with JSI Telecom, starting in June 2009. Most recently, they served as the Senior Software Development Manager from January 2020 to December 2021. Before that, they were the Development Manager from April 2016 to January 2020. Ian also worked as a Developer and Scrum Master on various teams within the company, including the Oculus Team from July 2015 to March 2016, the Frostbyte Team from December 2014 to June 2015, and the Phoenix Team from March 2012 to November 2014. Ian began their career at JSI Telecom as a Developer on the Systems Engineering Team, where they developed automated tooling for fail-over and performed performance optimizations from June 2009 to February 2012.

Ian Rintoul, MBA attended the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa from 2017 to 2019, earning a Master of Business Administration degree. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2009, they studied at Trent University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Ian also attended Georgian College from 2004 to 2007, where they pursued a program in Computer Programmer Analyst.
