Mataya Blakney

Mataya Blakney has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Mataya started their career in 2014 as a Coach at the Calgary Foothills Soccer Club. In 2015, they joined Earls Kitchen + Bar as a Server, where they provided exceptional service to guests and managed restaurant operations. In 2018, they worked as a Human Resources Administrative Assistant at Perpetual Energy Inc., where they conducted compensation analysis and performed administrative tasks. Since 2019, they have been with Gibson Energy, initially starting as a Human Resources Summer Student and progressing to roles such as Human Resources Analyst and Talent Acquisition Specialist. Currently, they hold the position of Talent Acquisition Lead at Gibson Energy.
