Rajiv de Silva is an accomplished Quality Assurance Manager at Gibson Overseas since May 2014, with extensive expertise in product development and quality control. Prior roles include Vendor Development & QC Manager at Voluspa, where significant cost savings were achieved by shifting sourcing directly to factories and establishing compliance manuals. Prior to that, Rajiv served as Product Development & Quality Control Manager at Gibson Overseas, overseeing a team of inspectors and focusing on supplier development mainly in ceramics, wood, and wicker. Other notable positions include Technical Director at Celestine Candle Company Pvt Ltd, where efficiency improvements were made in production planning and quality control, as well as various roles in merchandising and product development across reputable companies such as Hallmark Cards HK Ltd and Price’s Candles Ceylon Pvt Ltd. Rajiv began their career as Factory Manager at Midaya Ceramic Company Pvt Ltd and has a foundational background as a Project Engineer at Ceylon Glass Company. Rajiv holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Moratuwa.
