Ignacio Torres has extensive work experience in various roles within the consumer goods industry. Ignacio started their career at adidas in 2006, where they held positions such as Technical Representative, Category Manager, and Account Marketing Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for developing marketing plans, managing B2B projects, and overseeing strategic growth initiatives. From 2012 to 2015, Ignacio served as a Key Account Manager and later as a Senior Key Account Manager, overseeing distributorship in Venezuela, Costa Rica, and Honduras.
In 2016, Ignacio joined Gibson Brands, Inc. as the Epiphone and Gibson Acoustics European Manager. Ignacio was responsible for recommending and implementing plans within the EMEA region to achieve financial targets, ensuring brand consistency, and supporting sales and trade marketing teams. Ignacio then progressed to become the Senior BDM EMEA distributors and the Business Development Director for South of Europe and MEA. Currently, Ignacio is serving as the Global Commercial Export Business Director at Gibson Brands, Inc.
Throughout their career, Ignacio has demonstrated their ability to drive growth, manage key accounts, and develop and implement strategic plans.
Ignacio Torres completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree at Universidad de Zaragoza from 1998 to 2005. Ignacio also attended Nottingham Trent University from 2002 to 2003, where they also pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree. Additionally, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from ESIC Business & Marketing School from 2011 to 2012.
