Brent Dusing

Brent Dusing is an experienced entrepreneur and executive currently serving as the Founder, CEO, and Executive Chairman of TruPlay, a faith-based gaming platform for children established in November 2019. In addition, Brent is the Managing Partner of Gideon Ventures, a venture studio focused on creating technology companies for Kingdom Impact. Previously, Brent held leadership roles at Lightside, the world's leading faith-based video gaming company, where Brent served as Chairman from March 2010 until its acquisition by TruPlay in January 2022, and as CEO and Founder from March 2010 to February 2016. Brent's expertise also includes serving as CEO of GameSalad, Inc., a prominent company in Computer Science education, and founding Cellfire, which capitalized on the mobile advertising market. Brent's early career included a position as a Venture Capitalist at Menlo Ventures, where notable investments were made in industry-leading companies. Brent's academic background includes a BA with Honors in Economics from Harvard University and coursework in Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley.
