Vishwakant Mohapatra is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in solution design and product management, currently serving as Assistant Vice President and Head of Solution Design and Customer Product Management at Giesecke+Devrient since August 2006. Vishwakant has a proven track record in developing innovative solutions tailored for the Indian market, including complex projects related to eSIM technology and digital solutions for the automotive sector. Previous roles include technical leadership positions and project management at major telecommunications companies such as Reliance Jio and Tata Teleservices, where significant contributions were made in solution architecture and product lifecycle management. Before Giesecke+Devrient, Vishwakant worked as a software engineer at Motorola Solutions and Bharat Electronics, demonstrating strong technical and team leadership skills throughout a diverse career that began with a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Banaras Hindu University.
