Cedric Wilfried Blanchet

Cedric Wilfried Blanchet has extensive experience in project management and IT roles. Cedric Wilfried currently holds the position of Head of Corporate Platforms at GIG Gulf. Prior to this, they worked at AXA Gulf as the Senior Manager of Corporate Platforms, overseeing a team of engineers and supporting various platforms across finance, CRM, IVR call centers, marketing, HRMS, and customer engagement.

Before their time at AXA Gulf, Blanchet worked at RAKBANK as the IT Transformation Program & IT Governance Manager. In this role, they managed a team of project managers, business analysts, developers, and technical staff to implement strategic business initiatives. Cedric Wilfried oversaw the implementation of several large-scale IT transformation programs, including a digital remittance system using blockchain technology, a customer acquisition system, and a sales management and gamification platform.

Blanchet also gained experience at BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking, where they served as an IT project manager and later as the IT Trade Finance Operations Support Manager. Cedric Wilfried managed the implementation of the billing program for the MEA region, as well as the maintenance of trade finance back and middle office systems. Additionally, they worked on security and reliability projects for BNP Paribas premises.

Earlier in their career, Blanchet worked at VeriPark as an Associate Project Manager/Senior Business Analyst and at FEMSA as a quality engineer. Cedric Wilfried also completed an engineering internship at RISØ, the Danish National Scientific Research Center.
