Guy Charnaux

Guy Charnaux has a diverse work experience in the animation industry. Guy is currently working as a 2D Senior Animator at Gigglebug Entertainment, where they have worked on various shows for Nickelodeon and Disney EMEA using Toon Boom Harmony. Previously, they worked as an Animation Director & 2D Senior Animator at Sardinha em Lata, Lda, where they worked on different types of productions and styles. Guy also has experience as a Senior Rough Animator at Flying Bark Productions and Animation Supervisor & 2D Senior Animator at Lighthouse Studios, where they worked on TV productions for Netflix and Amazon Prime.

In terms of their earlier experience, Guy has worked as an Animator at Le Cube, where they contributed to a TV commercial using digital traditional animation. Guy also worked as a 2D Senior Animator at Studio Redfrog, where they worked on a TV show and a trailer for a feature film. Additionally, they interned at Linetest and worked as a Motion Designer at EPA! Youth Marketing, where they primarily worked on post-production, motion graphics, and 2D animation using After Effects and Toon Boom Animate.

Lastly, Guy has attended the International Summer School on Character Animation at GOBELINS, l'école de l'image, where they gained valuable experiences and knowledge from industry professionals.

Guy Charnaux completed their Bachelor's degree in Digital Media Design from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro between 2009 and 2013. Guy then pursued further education at Vancouver Film School, where they obtained a Diploma with honours in Classical Animation from 2014 to 2015.
