Steven van Bommel

Steven van Bommel has over nine years of work experience. Steven is currently working as the Head of Finance at Gigs since January 2024. Prior to this, they worked at Adyen for six years, where they held various roles such as Head of Strategic Finance, Head of FP&A, Business Control and Investor Relations, Head of Financial and Business Control, and Financial Controller. During this time, they led teams and was responsible for financial planning, controlling, accounting, and tax compliance activities for Adyen's global operations. Before joining Adyen, Steven worked as a Controller at VDL Nederland BV for one year and as a Financial controller at VDL Enabling Technologies Group (ETG) for four years. Steven also completed a two-year traineeship at VDL ETG, where they worked on various projects related to cost price calculation, management reporting, currency exposure, and export control.
