David Pickerell

David Pickerell is an experienced entrepreneur and investor with a strong background in business operations and logistics. As the Founder and CEO of GigSafe since September 2023, David focuses on enabling carriers to reduce insurance costs and streamline operational processes. In addition, David co-founded Para, a platform that consolidates work opportunities for gig drivers. Prior to these ventures, David was an Early Stage Investor at Yes VC, supporting companies like Dapper and Kickstarter. David's previous roles include Business Operations Lead at NAUTO, where significant contributions were made to raise $159M, and Lead Operations and Logistics Manager at Uber, where David established a key operation in Las Vegas. David began a career in finance as a Senior Analyst at Las Vegas Sands Corp. David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Harvard University.
