Rudra Rishy-Maharaj

Rudra Rishy-Maharaj has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Rudra currently holds the position of VP of Network Operations and General Manager at GigSky (Canada) Ltd., a company that provides data roaming services globally. In this role, Rudra is responsible for managing the telecom core, maintaining infrastructure hosted by AWS, and overseeing a team. Rudra also manages relationships with telecom partners in multiple countries.

Prior to their current role, Rudra worked at GigSky as the Director of Technical Operations. In this position, they provided leadership and direction for services, processes, change, and incident management. Rudra also managed the relationships with telecom partners in the US, Switzerland, Denmark, and Sweden.

Rudra worked with clients in various industries such as banking, health care, manufacturing, insurance, and telecom.

Rudra also has experience working at Canada Life, where they served as Lead Enterprise Performance Management/Capacity Planning. Additionally, they worked at Intria/Intria HP as a Senior Systems Programmer and at Stelco as a Systems Analyst.

Rudra Rishy-Maharaj attended McMaster University from 1982 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics.
