Niole Nelson has worked in the software engineering field since 2007. In 2012, they worked as an Economic Analyst and Researcher for The National Priorities Project. In 2014, they participated in an intensive educational fullstack web development program as a Developer in Residence. In 2015, they worked as a JavaScript Application Engineer for ClearStory Data, as well as a Team Member and Lab Member for The Dartmouth College Neukom Digital Arts Leadership and Innovation Lab (DALI). In 2016, they worked as a Web Development Contractor for Gigster. Since 2017, they have been working as a Senior Software Engineer for Domino Data Lab.
Niole Nelson completed their Bachelor's Degree in German Studies from Mount Holyoke College between 2010 and 2014. Niole also obtained two Coursera Course Certificates in 2016 - one for Functional Program Design in Scala in September, and one for Functional Programming Principles in Scala in August.
