Cheng Li Y.

Cheng Li Y. is an experienced fashion design professional with a strong background in apparel design, particularly in sweaters, knitwear, and women's activewear. Currently serving as Design Director and Design Manager at G-III Apparel Group since February 2007, Cheng oversees multiple design and production teams while mentoring junior designers. Previous roles at G-III include Senior Designer and Technical Designer, where expertise in garment fitting and tech pack development was demonstrated. Prior to G-III, Cheng worked at BOTAO Fashion Ltd in China as a Fashion Designer, handling all aspects of the design process. Cheng holds an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Fashion Design from Hubei University of Science and Engineering.
