Janice Lawhorn, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Janice is currently serving as the Interim President at Gila County Community College since August 2022. Janice Lawhorn, Ph.D. has a diverse education history. In 1981, they attended Eastern Arizona College, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in General Studies in 1983. Janice then went on to Northern Arizona University and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from 1993 to 1995. Continuing their education, Janice completed a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Elementary Education at Northern Arizona University from 1994 to 1996. In 2001, they pursued further studies at the University of Phoenix and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Information Systems from 2001 to 2003. Janice Lawhorn's training in education culminated in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Education Technology Management from Northcentral University, which they completed from 2006 to 2008. Additionally, they received a certificate in Developing Websites from Colorado Technical University in 2004 to enhance their expertise in educational websites.
