Anthony Santiago, MD has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Anthony has held various leadership positions throughout their career. From 2004 to 2009, Dr. Santiago served as the Medical Director of Movement Disorders at Rockwood Health Clinic. Anthony then took on the role of Medical Director at the Edward Ewell Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Center from 2006 to 2009. In 2010, they became the National Parkinson Foundation Center Director at Barrow Neurological Institute, where they also served as an Associate Professor of Neurology and Director of Clinical and Translational Research until 2013. Dr. Santiago then joined the University of Minnesota School of Medicine in 2013 as the Vice-Chair of Neurology, Chief of Movement Disorders, and Director of the Neurology Residency program until 2016. Anthony subsequently worked at Pathways Group, Inc. as the Chief Medical Officer from 2016 to 2017, and at the Parkinson's Institute and Clinical Center as the Chief Medical Officer from 2017 to 2018. Dr. Santiago then served as the Chief Medical Officer at the San Carlos Apache Healthcare Corporation from 2018 to 2019. Anthony later became the Chief Medical Officer and subsequently the Chief Executive Officer at Gila River Health Care from 2019 to present. Additionally, Dr. Santiago is currently a member of the Board of Directors at the Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association, starting in 2021.
Anthony Santiago, MD completed a Master of Science in Management degree from Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in the years 2023-2024. Prior to that, they attended Albany Medical College and Le Moyne College, although specific degrees or fields of study are not provided.
