Elizabeth Whitson

Elizabeth Whitson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Development Operations at Gilead Sciences since January 2020, Elizabeth has also held notable positions including Vice President of Global Product Development and Global Head of Clinical Science Business Operations at Genentech, where responsibilities included overseeing clinical operations across multiple global sites and reporting to senior executives. Additional roles at Genentech involved managing product development leadership teams and ensuring the strategic direction of development writing and regulatory submissions. Elizabeth holds an M.A. from Tufts University and a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.
