Hsiu-Chun Chuang

Hsiu-Chun Chuang is a Senior Scientist at Gilead Sciences since December 2022, with previous experience as a Scientist at Scribe Therapeutics from November 2021 to November 2022. Hsiu-Chun's extensive research background includes a postdoctoral position at the University of California, Berkeley, focusing on the molecular mechanisms of CNS disorders, particularly targeting brain myeloid cells and neuroinflammation. Early research experience includes graduate studies at Academia Sinica, Taiwan, emphasizing the genetic and functional roles of transcription factors in neurodevelopmental disorders, as well as conducting receptor binding assays and pharmacokinetics studies in other roles. Hsiu-Chun holds a PhD in Neurobiology and Neurosciences from the National Defense Medical Center and additional degrees in Neuroscience and Cellular and Molecular Biology.
