Jackson Egen

Vice President, Research Oncology at Gilead Sciences

Jackson Egen serves as the Vice President of Research Oncology at Gilead Sciences since June 2021, following a distinguished tenure at Amgen from December 2014 to June 2021, where Jackson held roles as Director of Inflammation and Oncology and Principal Scientist. Prior to Amgen, Jackson was a Scientist at Genentech from October 2009 to December 2014 and worked at the National Institutes of Health as a Staff Scientist and Post-Doctoral Fellow from June 2004 to May 2010. Jackson began the career at Intelligent Imaging Innovations as an Applications Scientist from June 2002 to May 2004. Educationally, Jackson Egen earned a PhD in Immunology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Arizona.
