John Jorden

John Jorden is an accomplished finance leader with extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Finance at Gilead Sciences, John leads a global team of approximately 180 finance professionals and collaborates with the Chief Commercial Officer to optimize access to medicines for millions of patients. Previously, John has held significant leadership roles at Amgen, including Executive Director for Commercial Transformation and Head of Digital Health, where responsibilities encompassed managing substantial revenue and operating expense portfolios. Early in the career, John served as Financial Controller at GE Aviation and participated in GE's Corporate Audit Staff and Financial Management Program, gaining diverse financial expertise. John holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and the National University of Singapore, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University.
