Luciana Preger

Luciana Preger serves as the VP and Head of Oncology at Gilead Sciences since February 2021, following a tenure as Executive Director of Oncology in Global Medical Affairs at Genentech from February 2017 to January 2021. Prior to that, Luciana held positions as Sr Medical Director in Global Product Development focusing on oncology, specifically on breast cancer and immunotherapy, and in US Medical Affairs for TNBC. Luciana's experience also includes being a Medical Group Manager at Roche, overseeing oncology franchises for breast and ovarian cancer and hematology, and serving as Country Medical Manager. Before Roche, Luciana was with Servier as a Senior Product Manager, managing marketing strategy and medical affairs for various products. Luciana began a medical career at Clínica São Vicente in internal medicine and is educated at Clinica Sao Vicente and Universidade Gama Filho in Rio de Janeiro.
