Michael Levy, MD, is an experienced executive in the pharmaceutical industry, holding significant leadership roles in medical affairs, regulatory affairs, patient safety, and research and development quality. Currently, Michael serves as Senior VP of Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Patient Safety and R&D Quality at Gilead Sciences. Previously, Michael held multiple senior vice president positions at Bayer, overseeing global pharmacovigilance and medical affairs across various sectors. As the founder and CEO of Cerulean Bioscience and former Chief Scientific Officer at Nuvelo, Michael has demonstrated expertise in R&D. Michael also served as Chief Medical Officer and Senior VP of Development at Tularik. Academic credentials include a BA and MA, as well as an MB and BChir from the University of Cambridge.
