Zig Lang

Zig Lang, MD, PhD, currently serves as Vice President and Head of International Medical Affairs, and Oncology Development for Asia-Pacific at Gilead Sciences since June 2022. Prior to this role, Zig Lang held multiple leadership positions at Bayer Pharmaceuticals from June 2012 to June 2022, including Vice President of Global Head of Pharmacovigilance Benefit and Risk Management as well as Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs and Pharmacovigilance for Bayer Greater China. Additional experience includes serving as Vice President of Clinical Development & Medical Affairs for Oncology at Endo Pharmaceuticals and Senior Director of Oncology R&D at Johnson and Johnson. Educational credentials include a Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology from The George Washington University, a Pediatrics Residency at Rush Children's Hospital, and dual PhDs in Biochemistry from Rush University and The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, alongside an MD in Medicine from The Fourth Military Medical University.
