Lance Covert

Lance Covert is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering & Design at Giles Foodservice Equipment, Inc. since March 2013, where responsibilities include managing the engineering team and overseeing projects related to electronics development. Previously, Lance Covert held the position of Director of Engineering at Species, a company specializing in technology accessories, notable for its featured iPhone case in various prestigious publications. Additional experience includes roles as an Engineer II at Honeywell Aerospace, Project Engineer at EMS Technologies, and Research Assistant at the University of Florida, with early experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Alabama. Lance Covert holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida, along with a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alabama.
