Ali Allen

Alicia Allen is an experienced language educator currently serving as a Language Teacher at Gilman School since July 2020, specializing in Spanish and French for the upper school. Prior to this, Alicia held the position of Modern Language Teacher at Gilman School from August 2017 to July 2019 and worked as a Substitute and Summer Session Teacher at Friends School of Baltimore between February 2016 and June 2017, focusing on summer refresher courses in language. Alicia's early experience includes an internship as a Communications Director at High C Consulting in early 2015. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Spanish Language Teacher Education from Middlebury College (2018-2022), a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Linguistics and French from Boston University (2012-2016), as well as studies at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and Université Stendhal Grenoble 3 in 2014 and 2015, respectively.
