Kurt Thies

Kurt Thies has several years of experience in the field of records and information management. Kurt currently holds the position of Vice President at Gimmal since 2022. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2022, they served as the VP, Product Evangelist at Access | Information Management, where they led the innovation and digital transformation efforts.

From 2019 to 2020, Kurt worked as the Global VP of Sales at Infolinx, a leading provider of records and information management software. Before that, from 2015 to 2018, they held the role of VP of Technology and Strategic Solutions at TAB, focusing on providing strategic solutions for records and information lifecycle management.

Additionally, Kurt served as the Strategic Advisor and Solution Sales Executive at Percipient, Inc. from 2014 to 2015, where they provided advisory consulting services to Fortune 500 executives and startups. Kurt also has prior experience at Iron Mountain, where they held the position of Vice President of Strategy & Innovation from 2007 to 2014, leading the integration of a newly acquired product.

Kurt's career began with him founding and managing Accutrac Software, Inc. from 1994 to 2007. During their tenure, they grew the company into a successful records and information management software company, securing and maintaining clients from Fortune 500 companies and international organizations.

Kurt Thies holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature from UCLA. In addition, they have obtained a certification named "edX Verified Certificate for Remote Work Revolution for Everyone" from the institution Harvardx on edX, which was completed in February 2022.
