Seppo Makinen

Seppo Makinen has extensive experience in the healthcare and technology sectors, currently serving as a Member of the Board at Optomed Oyj since May 2019, where Seppo also chairs the remuneration committee. Additionally, Seppo holds roles as Chairman of the Board at Klinik Healthcare Solutions and as a board member at Ginolis Ltd. Seppo is a Partner at SLS Ventures and an Advisor for multiple companies including Critical Ventures, BioNavis Oy, and Hylid Diagnostics Inc. Previously, Seppo was a Member of the Board for Aegirbio AB and the Chairman of the Board at lino Biotech AG during its successful exit to Miltenyi Biotec. Seppo's experience also includes board membership at VideoVisit, which was sold to Main Capital Partners. Seppo holds a Master's degree in Physical Chemistry and Mathematics from the University of Jyväskylä.
