Jonathon Woods

Jonathon Woods has a diverse work experience in various finance-related roles. Jonathon started their career at Smith Hodge and Baxter as an Accountant and Auditor, where they were responsible for planning, fieldwork, and completion of audits. Jonathon also prepared and reviewed financial statements and tax returns.

After that, Jonathon worked at Wicksteed Leisure Limited as an Accountant and later became the Head of Finance. Jonathon then moved to Belron UK Limited, where they held multiple positions, including Financial Reporting Manager, UK Financial Reporting Manager, Finance Business Partner, and Finance Transformation Manager. In these roles, they implemented rolling forecasts, supported operational teams, and led the transition to IFRS 16 accounting standards.

Jonathon's most recent position was as the Head of Business Information at Samworth Brothers, where they revolutionized reporting within the company and implemented technology to enhance insights and analytics.

Currently, Jonathon is the Head of Finance at Ginsters.

Jonathon Woods began their education at Latimer Community Arts College in 2001, where they pursued four A-levels. Jonathon then went on to enroll at the University of Warwick from 2008 to 2011, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mathematics. In April 2016, they obtained the ACA certification from ICAEW.
