Kalle Mäkelä has a wealth of experience in sales and business operations. Kalle started their career in 2003 as a salesperson at Fimet Oy. In 2004, they moved to Metro-lehti as a Myyntipäällikkö, where they worked in the telesales team and grew several cases to become key customers. In 2006, they joined Nelonen Media as a Sales Manager, where they worked in the sales team to hunt customers for the new radio stations. In 2011, Kalle became a Key Account Manager at SBS Discovery Television, where they saw the growth of the Discovery broadcasting network from one small channel to a multi-channel network. Finally, in 2014, they joined giosg as Country Manager for Finland & Baltics, leading business and commercial operations and implementing commercial development strategies and local business plans.
Kalle Mäkelä completed a Tradenomi degree in Marketing from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences between 2000 and 2004. Kalle also attended Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin, but did not receive any degree from there.
