Linda Davis

Linda Davis, PhD, is a prominent figure in the clean energy sector, currently serving as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Giraffe Bioenergy since September 2019, where the focus is on developing biorefineries that produce ethanol cooking fuel from cassava in Kenya. Previous roles include Chief Systems and People Officer at One Acre Fund, Senior Technical Advisor at Hivos, and Moderator for the Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue. Additionally, Linda has held advisory positions at Sunbird Bioenergy and KOKO Networks, and leadership roles in business development and product development at organizations such as Sapphire Energy and Pacific Ethanol. Linda holds a Master of Science and PhD in Biotechnology and Microbiology from Western Sydney University, along with certifications in Project Management and Financial Analysis from Villanova University and Stanford University, respectively.
