Beth Emmons has extensive experience in education, serving as a Kindergarten Teacher, 6th Grade Math and Language Arts Teacher, and Spanish Teacher in the Frankenmuth School District since August 2005. Emmons has also contributed to Saginaw Valley State University as a Facilitator and Member of the Saginaw Bay Writing Project since 2015 and leads a Daisy Troop and a Junior Girl Scout Troop with Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan. Previous roles include Union Representative for Frankenmuth FTPO Union (2017-2019), Tutor for students K-12 at Red Apple Tutoring (2004-2018), and Spanish Teacher in Community Education (2004-2007). Emmons began the education career as a Substitute Teacher for K-12 in the Frankenmuth School District (2004-2005). Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in K-12 Literacy from the University of Michigan (2006-2008) and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, certified in math, language arts, and Spanish from the same institution (2000-2004).
