Mahiyah Sampson

Mahiyah Sampson, MPA, currently serves as a Staff Assistant at the U.S. House of Representatives since May 2024, and previously held positions as a Congressional Intern. With coaching experience at Centercourt Sports Academy since April 2021, Mahiyah also contributes as a Girl Scout Leader and Program Manager/Unit Leader at the Girl Scouts of Central & Southern NJ. A recent Graduate Consultant at the Mississippi Hospital Association, responsibilities included conducting a population health assessment. Mahiyah has assisted the Van Pelt-Dietrich Library at the University of Pennsylvania as a Student Assistant and has held leadership roles in the College Democrats of New Jersey and the College Democrats of America. Additional roles include Research Assistant and Career Ambassador at Kean University and positions at Sterling Strategies, LLC. Mahiyah holds a Master of Public Administration with a focus on Public Policy Analysis from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from Kean University.
