Kate Weidner has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Kate began their career in 1996 at Pines of Carolina Girl Scout Council, where they held various roles including Program Director, Outdoor Program Director, and Younger Girl Program Director. During their time there, Kate managed a team, organized numerous program events, recruited and supervised staff, and effectively managed the budget. Kate also played a key role in increasing the number of outdoor program events and developed programs to support a science program grant. In 2015, Kate joined Woodland Educational Foundation as the Executive Director. Following that, they joined Girl Scouts of Central Indiana in 2017, where they held positions such as Program Development Manager, Membership Manager, and most recently, Community Action Network Team Director.
