Mel Mason

Melissa Mason has extensive experience in program management and outdoor education, currently serving as Director of Outdoor Program and Girl Experience Coordinator at Girl Scouts of Connecticut since February 2019. Previous roles include Business Manager at Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains and Camp and Youth Development Director at YMCA of Greater Londonderry. Melissa's background also includes a long tenure at Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida, where responsibilities involved directing outdoor programs and training. Earlier career experiences encompass environmental education leadership at Calusa Nature Center and outdoor science program assistance at Orange County Outdoor Science School. Melissa holds a BS in Park Management from Unity College.
