Katie Makarska

Katie Makarska is a skilled product manager and designer currently serving as a Teaching Assistant for Interaction Design Fundamentals at Carnegie Mellon University. With a strong foundation in human-computer interaction, Katie has experience as a Product Owner and Product Manager Intern at iManage and has participated in the IBM Accelerate program. As a Product Manager and Designer at Humanity Rising, Katie successfully designed a web-based immersive experience and managed extensive content production on anti-bullying and mental health. Katie founded TeenEase, a mental health app for teens, which garnered over 2000 users and a 4.7 rating on the iOS App Store.
