Angela Montijo, LMSW, PPSC, is an experienced social worker with a strong background in providing therapeutic and direct services across various populations. Currently serving as a Juvenile Justice Program Facilitator for Girls Empowerment Network, Angela focuses on supporting court-involved and incarcerated girls through collaborative programming and trauma-informed practices. Previous experiences include serving as a School Social Worker for Del Valle Independent School District, where Angela managed therapeutic services for students and developed educational resources for families. Angela has also held positions addressing critical needs in community settings, including managing programs at Austin Voices for Education and Youth and providing mental health services to Spanish-speaking immigrants. Angela holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and History from the University of California, Riverside.
