Joanne Ferry

Joanne Ferry is a Senior Groundwater Scientist at Gisborne District Council since September 2021, bringing extensive expertise in hydrogeology from a previous role as Hydrogeologist at Rio Tinto from September 2013 to September 2021, alongside experience as a Graduate Hydrogeologist. Prior to this, Joanne served as a Field Assistant at Southern Geophysical, Ltd., conducting geophysical surveys in the wake of the Christchurch Earthquake in 2013. Educationally, Joanne holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Engineering Geology and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Geology and Biology, both from the University of Canterbury.
