Alexandra Downs

Alexandra Downs has extensive work experience in communications and consulting roles. Alexandra is currently the Head of Communications at GIST Impact since July 2022. Prior to that, they held the same position at CENTURY Tech from November 2021 to July 2022. From September 2018 to November 2021, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Milltown Partners LLP. Alexandra also has experience at Kekst CNC, where they served as a Consultant from March 2016 to August 2018, as a Senior Associate from August 2013 to February 2016, and as an Associate from April 2011 to July 2013. Alexandra started their career as an Evidence Based Policy Strategy Intern at Bertelsmann Stiftung in June 2009. Alexandra's first internship was with Friedman, Billings & Ramsey as an Institutional Equity Sales Intern in 2008.

Alexandra Downs received their Msc in Comparative Politics (Europe) from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a BA in International Studies and German from The Johns Hopkins University in 2009. Alexandra's education began at St. Paul's School from 2001 to 2005, but no degree or specific field of study was indicated.
