Jake Ohira has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jake started their career as an intern at Freescale Semiconductor, where they worked on the development of a prototype for an interactive remote controller.
Jake then joined Sony as a Hardware Engineer and later became a Project Lead. During their tenure at Sony, they developed sub-pixel alignment systems for dual stacked 4K projectors, worked on signal processing FPGA's for laser projectors, defined customer requirements for home theater systems, and developed image quality calibration tools for digital cinema projectors.
After Sony, Jake joined aptpod, Inc. as a Tech Lead and later became a Manager. During their time at aptpod, Inc., they contributed to tech leadership and management roles.
Currently, Jake is working at GITAI as an Avionics Engineer, where they are involved in avionics engineering projects. Jake is also taking on the role of a Project Manager starting from January 2023.
