Shingo Kitagawa has a solid work experience in the field of robotics and research. Shingo worked as a Robotics Software Engineer at GITAI starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they were a Project Assistant Professor at The University of Tokyo from April 2022 to March 2023. From April 2020 to March 2022, they worked as a Research Fellow (DC2) at the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. Shingo also gained experience as a Research Assistant at The University of Tokyo from October 2017 to March 2018.
Shingo Kitagawa obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechano-Informatics from The University of Tokyo between 2012 and 2017. Shingo then pursued their Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Creative Informatics from the same university, completing it in 2019. Subsequently, Shingo Kitagawa continued their education at The University of Tokyo to earn their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Information Science and Technology, which they received in 2022.
