Javier Díaz Esteban

Javier Díaz Esteban is a seasoned Senior Product Designer currently contributing to the Design Systems team at GitHub since February 2020, focusing on updating UI, patterns, and icons. As the owner of Edokoa since November 2005, Javier has offered a wide range of freelance services, including art direction, web development, and UX/UI design. Previous experience includes senior product design roles at Microsoft for Azure DevOps, and as a freelance designer with NEEEU Spaces GmbH, where projects encompassed AR applications. Javier has also worked with esteemed companies such as McKinsey & Company, Lufthansa Innovation Hub, and 6Minutes Media, the latter winning the "Website Of The Year" award for two consecutive years under Javier's design leadership. Javier holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Deusto.
