Rachel Aurand

Rachel Aurand is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in software development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at GitHub since March 2022, Rachel previously held multiple roles at Workday from September 2013 to March 2022, including Senior Software Development Engineer, Software Development Engineer, and Software Application Engineer. Earlier experience includes working as a Java Development Engineer, Research Assistant, and Teaching Assistant at UC Davis from September 2011 to September 2013. Additionally, Rachel contributed as a Technical Advisor at the California State Summer School for Mathematics and Science in 2010. Rachel holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis, earned in 2012 and 2011, respectively.
