András Horváth

András Horváth is an experienced engineering manager currently working at GitLab since January 2022, overseeing Gitaly and related Git development. Prior to this role, András spent over a decade at Google, where responsibilities included leading the SRE team for Gmail and focusing on architectural design and automation as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer. Earlier experience includes positions as an IT procurement coordinator and Systems Engineer at CERN, along with roles in systems administration and database management at various companies. András holds a B.Eng. in computer science from Kandó Kálmán Polytechnic and studied at Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
