George Kichukov

George Kichukov currently serves as the Field CTO at GitLab, focusing on enhancing customer engagement in areas such as DevOps, DevSecOps, Developer Experience, SDLC compliance, and AI-assisted software development. Prior to this role, Kichukov held several key positions at Citi, including Head of Engineering for both DevOps Automation Platforms and Developer Platforms, where responsibilities included managing CI/CD pipelines and ensuring secure deployments across various cloud environments. Kichukov has a solid foundation in engineering roles, gaining experience as Engineering Lead for Continuous Integration Platforms and as an Enterprise Architect. Earlier in their career, Kichukov worked as a Solutions Architect at CAST and as a Software Developer at Intelligent Search Technology. Kichukov holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from Dowling College.
