Michael Aring

Michael Aring has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. Michael began their career as an Intern in Performance & Reward at EY in 2012. In 2013, they joined the Founding Team of SwingBy as a Sales and Product Development member. In 2015, they Co-Founded GoOut Experiences. In 2016, they interned at Project A Ventures as a Venture Capital member. In 2017, they were an Intern in Small Cap Private Equity at BPE Unternehmensbeteiligungen. In 2019, they were an Associate in Venture Capital at coparion. In 2020, they were a Senior Associate in RBF & Growth Equity for B2B SaaS at Riverside Acceleration Capital, where they launched the European presence of the company. Currently, they are the Head of Marketing and Go-to-Market for Gitpod, where they are working on educating on their product and category.

Michael Aring obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from UCL in 2018, a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in International Business (Finance) from Maastricht University School of Business and Economics in 2015, and an Academic Exchange Semester in International Business from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2014.
