Sean Carolan

Sean Carolan started their work experience at the SANS Institute in 2006 as an SEO Strategist, where they increased website visitors and configured Urchin software on Linux servers. In 2007, they joined IBM as a Linux Administrator, installing and configuring various software and assisting with system patching and updating. From 2007 to 2010, they worked at Peoplefluent as a Senior Systems Administrator, upgrading machines and managing services like Apache and MySQL. Sean then worked at Electronic Arts as a Senior Unix Administrator, managing Linux servers and supporting game launches. In 2013, they joined Chef Software, where they held roles such as Solutions Engineer and Partner Engineer, collaborating with the sales team and teaching training courses. From 2018 to 2020, they worked at HashiCorp as a Global Technologist and Technology Specialist, building technical training material and contributing to a 20% increase in renewal business. Sean later joined Lacework in 2020 as a Senior Sales Engineer, conducting demos and optimizing monitoring agents.
