May Miller-Ricci has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 2005 when they worked as an English Teacher at Jaluit Elementary School with WorldTeach. May then moved on to become a 1st and 2nd Grade Teacher at Cloud Forest School in 2006. In 2007, they held three positions, as an Assistant Director of Tutoring and Operations at The Princeton Review, a Corporate Essay Reviewer at College Coach, and an ESL Teacher at Embassy CES. From 2008 to 2015, they worked at WestEd as a Web Applications Developer and Program Associate for the STEM Program. May then worked as a Senior Developer at thoughtbot from 2017 to 2020, before taking on their current role as Senior Software Engineer at GiveCampus.

May Miller-Ricci has attended Coding Dojo and Swarthmore College. May holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Swarthmore College.
