Yolande Wright

Yolande Wright is an experienced professional in international development and humanitarian assistance, currently serving as the VP of Partnerships at GiveDirectly since March 2023. Prior to this role, Yolande was the Global Director for Child Poverty, Climate, and Urban initiatives at Save the Children International from September 2019 to March 2023. Yolande's extensive background at the Department for International Development (DFID) from September 2001 to August 2019 includes roles such as Senior Ebola Virus Disease Lead, Deputy Head and Acting Head of the Conflict, Humanitarian and Security Department, and Team Leader for Extreme Poverty and Climate Change in Bangladesh. Earlier career experiences include a consultancy at ERM and a role as a Systems Analyst at Procter & Gamble. Yolande holds a Master of Science in Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford and a degree in Natural Sciences from Durham University.
