Aamir Malik

Aamir Malik has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Aamir most recently worked as a Senior Product Engineer at Legacy since June 2021. Prior to that, they co-founded SiteDetour in November 2019. Aamir also worked as a Backend Software Engineer at Jump Ramp from July 2020 to June 2021. Aamir had a role as a Software Engineer at NextGuest from October 2018 to July 2020, where they contributed to the development of a proprietary CMS and led the development of a hotel booking engine application. Before that, they worked as a JR PHP Applications Programmer at HeBS Digital from December 2016 to October 2018, where they built a GDPR consent tool, implemented recurrence support for CMS, and automated hosting creation. Aamir's earlier experience includes a role as a Web Application Developer Intern at Simple Therapy from February 2016 to May 2016, where they integrated IBM Watson's Alchemy API, gathered weather data for tailored exercises, and automated report generation.

Aamir Malik pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Information Technology from Queens College from the year 2011 to 2016. Additionally, in March 2019, they obtained a certification as an Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
